Document Sciences Signs Gimmal Group to Resell xPression®

ECM Integrator Latest to Join Expanding Partner Community

CARLSBAD, CA (July 10, 2006) -- Document Sciences Corporation (NASDAQ: DOCX), a proven market leader in providing customer communications management solutions, today announced an agreement with Gimmal Group, a leading information technology consulting company. Under the terms of the agreement, Gimmal Group will resell Document Sciences' xPression® software to organizations in a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, insurance, petroleum, telecommunications, and utilities.

Awarded the EMC Designed for Documentum certification, xPression is built on a service-oriented J2EE architecture and uses Java and XML standards to enable seamless integration with other enterprise systems. The solution also offers a state-of-the-art WYSIWYG document design interface, xPresso™ for Adobe® InDesign®. Users can easily import static content and digital assets from an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system into a graphically-rich, rule-based document template to dynamically produce hundreds of thousands of highly personalized documents, including marketing collaterals, invoices, bills, and relationship statements for both online and print distribution.
