Arrowhead General Insurance Agency Experiences Significant Benefits From Standardizing on Document Sciences' xPression

Privately-held insurance leader saves costs and accelerates time-to-market
CARLSBAD, CA (September 20, 2006) - Document Sciences Corporation (NASDAQ: DOCX), a market leader in providing customer communications management solutions, reports that Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, one of the largest privately-held general agencies in the country, has experienced positive results by standardizing their document generation onto the award-winning xPression® product suite. Arrowhead uses xPression to automate the production of policies, declarations, invoices, cancellation notices and proof of mail across multiple delivery channels. Since standardizing on xPression, the company has significantly accelerated policy issuance processes, experienced faster roll-out of products, improved document quality and reduced printing and distribution costs.
Arrowhead has successfully moved the majority of its legacy Auto line document production onto the xPression platform. Based upon the positive results thus far, the company plans to extend the use of xPression across additional lines of business including Workers' Compensation, Homeowners and Commercial. Arrowhead will also integrate an electronic library of industry standard P&C forms, pre-built and certified for use with the xPression suite, with its front-end policy administration system to speed the writing of new lines of business.
