xPression 3 Introduction Track - Product Overview

This class delivers a detailed but high-level overview of the xPression products and architecture. In this class, you will be introduced to all xPression products, given an overview of installation strategies, provided with hands-on exercises with the products, as well as receive an overview of key topics. You will also learn about the xPression architecture and integration strategies including XQuery and Web Services.

Professionals who need to gain a high level understanding of the xPression Products and Architecture for use across the enterprise.

Course prerequisites:

Intermediate understanding of the following:
  • Relational Databases such as Oracle, or DB2, or SQL Server
  • Application Server based applications
  • XML and XML schemas
  • Java and WebServices
  • Microsoft Word 2000 or higher
  • Beginner to intermediate level proficiency with Adobe InDesign CS3
  • Beginner to intermediate level proficiency with Adobe Dreamweaver CS3
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher
